Field Trips
Part of our goal is to invite the community in as much as possible. One way we achieve this is by offering onsite class field trips to local preschools and elementary schools. During their visits, we organize animal visits, painting our donkeys, interactive learning activities such as planting seeds to take home, and lunch on the farm.

Internships
We offer selective internships and work studies to adults with autism who demonstrate the desire to work on our farm in some capacity, whether it be helping with the animals, cleaning up the cabin and surrounding areas, or assisting staff in everyday tasks. It's a great way for participants to brush up on life skills, vocational skills & social skills. Call us for more details!

Art
A significant part of 3BBF is our art program. We work with our day campers and Take Flight Club participants using various techniques & mixed media on canvas, all while using professional grade paints & supplies. Participants receive sensory pleasure in getting messy while playing around with textures such as salt, sand, feathers, buttons and marbles. We never know what we're going to get, but the end results are always organically beautiful & amazing. The masterpieces are then professionally framed and go up for live auction at our Bluebird Ball in November.

Animals
We have many friendly animals on our farm that interact with all of our participants -- from donkeys, to dogs, to chickens, cats and rabbits! Before we accept any animal onto our farm, we make sure that they are going to work well with our participants; even our chickens and roosters!
